American Bar Association (ABA):  Choose this site to obtain a wealth of information that is put out by the ABA.

American Medical Association (AMA):  Home Page to the AMA.  Find a wealth of information from an association of physicians dedicated to the health of America.

American Psychiatric Association (APA):  The American Psychiatric Association is a medical specialty society recognized world-wide.  Its 40,500 U.S. and international physicians specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of mental and emotional illnesses and substance use disorders.  Click on this site for public and professional information.

American Psychological Association (APA):  APA's home page provides links to information for psychologists, students, and the public.  Get information about the APA, their products and services, publications, and programs and offices.  Use APA's Search Tools, and be sure to check out the new PsycLAW site by APA.

American Psychological Association's PsycLAW:  Linking psychology and law, this site provides APA amicus briefs, on-line print resources, books, journals, products, resources, and more.

APA's PsychPORT:  PsycPORT® is a product of the American Psychological Association created to provide quick access to mass-media information related to psychology.

Bazelon Center for Mental Health:  The Judge David L. Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law is a nonprofit legal advocacy organization based in Washington D.C.  Find information about ADA issues, aging issues, children's issues, fair housing, mental health care, other links, and more.

Mental Health:  A Report of the Surgeon General:  Review this report and other Surgeon General reports dating back to 1964.  Also, obtain information on conferences, workshops, and other publications.

Minnesota Association of Community Corrections Act Counties:  An association of counties who operate corrections programming.  This site offers valuable information on a broad range of topics within corrections.

National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI):  NAMI's efforts focus on support to persons with serious brain disorders and to their families; advocacy for nondiscriminatory and equitable federal, state, and private-sector policies; research into the causes, symptoms and treatments for brain disorders; and education to eliminate the pervasive stigma surrounding severe mental illness.

National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH):  Practitioners, researchers, and the public can obtain information on recent news and events, clinical trials, funding opportunities, and research.

Police Executive Research Forum (PERF):  The Police Executive Research Forum (PERF) is a national membership organization of progressive police executives from the largest city, county and state law enforcement agencies.  PERF is dedicated to improving policing and advancing professionalism through research and involvement in public policy debate.

Predictors of Youth Violence:  This Bulletin describes a number of such risk and protective factors, including individual, family, school, peer-related, community/neighborhood, and situational factors.
